On May 17th the GO HOA Board reconvened. We had several homeowners join the meeting and we thank them for their contribution.
City employees presented the Manchaca Road Corridor Mobility Plan and requested community input. The plan is to provide improved safety and traffic flow on Manchaca Rd from Lamar Blvd to FM 1626. More information can be found at https://data.austintexas.gov/stories/s/Manchaca-Road-Corridor/qqum-8r4v/
Landscaping is moving forward. The irrigation system, specifically getting water returned to the two entrances (Machaca Rd & Davis Lane) continues with bids from two area businesses. A bid, with conditions, was approved and this work will be moving forward in the coming weeks.
In addition, a poll using Survey Monkey has be sent to GO residents. Community input is requested on landscaping options. This poll is open until June 1, 2018. To vote on landscaping options go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NMM7T5V
Proposals were presented for a reserve study to be conducted. A reserve study is a budget planning tool. It is a plan to offset ongoing deterioration of common grounds while planning for sufficient funds to be available when anticipated major expenditures to those grounds occur. A proposal was approved, with conditions, and that study will be moving forward.
Enjoy the summer and stay safe!
